I am so excited about our upcoming trip to Cancun Mexico. I am leading a team of 11. We are small in number but we know God is going to move big within our group. Looking forward to arriving Sunday July 8th.

How do I locate the back 2 back catalog or even sign up for volunteering/giving of my services? I have many many years of experience with children of all ages and their families, living within all economical/social differences, children who have learning differences, and working with children of all various special needs (from oxygen tanks, to feeding tubes .. Etc. ) I feel it has always been my calling and a special blessing that i have the ability and God giving warm personality that draws others towards myself. This is what has made it eaiser to help serve, provide services to those in need.

You are advocating a noble cause, and I salute your efforts! Every child should have the opportunity to discover what they are capable of, particularly through literacy, for that is the only viable route to self-sufficiency and a fulfilling life.

Will, Stacy and I were very touched by the extreme generosity of the young man who sold his mattress to pay for his friend’s medical needs. We would very much like to replace that mattress with a new one. We’ll be in Jos this June, so please let us know how we can do this???

So very, very true. How often do we struggle along trying to do “God’s Work” in our own strength or with our own provision, never stopping to acknowledge all that He desires to put into it. And all the while, He is sitting there waiting for us to come to Him and let Him do His work through us. “In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.” (Prov 3:6)

This is just so totally awesome! Seeing what these beautiful girls did and this pictures, just makes me cry. Reckless Faith and Relentless Love is what it is all about. How joyful that our Lord moves in these princesses lives. One is so humbled and privileged to be able to serve these orphans in Monterrey! I wish I could come again.

Cathy, thank you for writing this and about your experience. It reminds me that though I get discouraged here in a much privileged culture. The kids you are serving, that I have seen when visiting are an inspiration to me. They are the heros and showing me how God works, and his strength. So do you my friend. I will never forget making potholders in the Rio meeting house and laughing with the women as they held up their messy potholers that looked like something else. I will be praying for this family….
